I like your analysis of the film, about the different emotions that it touches. It was amazing how sympathetic Spielberg makes the audience feel for non-human characters in a movie. Spielberg has created a lot of modern classics that have found a nice home at the Redford, like the recently shown Jaws, Close Encounters, E.T., and Indiana Jones movies.

Hi Robert,
It was nice to see you at the Redford this past weekend. As for A.I. I saw it when it first came out and was impressed. It is a very deep film. The subject matter not only talks about wants, hopes and dreams but deals with a darker and larger problems in our society.Prejudice and bigotry is still am major problem in our society. It is amazing to see a film address it in the way I.A. does. I feel A.I. will become a classic and I hope more people will see this film a get the messages Krubeck and Spielberg intended.
Thanks
